Power steering
I'm considering converting my right hand drive early ('84) spec. Corolla to power steering.
My assumption is that the early cars did not have ps and therefor no provision was made in the engine bay for pump, reservoir, pipework etc. can anyone confirm this for me or let me know what is required to convert to ps Thanks An analogue brain in a digital World |

Power steering
As well as the power steer rack, you will also need the front
cross member from a power steer car. And AFAIK there is some difference in length between the power steer and non power steer columns. Not sure if it is an issue or not, but it might be a good idea to confirm. Cheers... jondee86 |
