I'm here AGAIN !! More than 1 year later...
My AE86 is STILL at the bodyshop, it's a crazy, very long, story... I didn't post here since, because without my Levin I didn't want to post...But I'm going to get it very soon !! Here the news: Some very bad pix of the car at the bodyshop, it was about 1 year ago... ... And some pix from last summer : Shaved (US) gas door ! In 19 months, yes 19 months...I had time to buy some parts ! Sportmax rims !!! I've got : -HKS silent Hipower catback. -D2 coilovers. -Recaro recliners + bride rails (I coudn't find recaro rails for AE86, so I find that bride ones fit !). -Cusco strus. -TRD complete bushing. ...And a lor more...but not the car !! So, I get it back soon (1 month or 2), It will be DOPE with all these parts !! I'll post pictures as soon as I can. |

wow, i know how frustating it is to have a car that long on the body shop. I've never had a car that long, but i know it's frustating.
Good luck on the project, it seems that it's gonna be out sooner than later. Great parts you have awaiting for it. BTW, where is the gas feed located now? Pedro Velado GT-S Owner |

Thanks for the support guys .
The gas door is shaved, but it still there, in fact there is no longer the "hole for the key" (sorry I don't know the English name for that, lol). The gas door opening is operate from the inside likes USDM and JDM AE86 ! The same for the trunk by the way... My gas door is from USA, I bought it to Max a long time ago with all the ancillary to open from inside. You can take those parts from others Toyota likes AE82 (except the gas door itself). I hope you understand what I meant. |
