Usually they are not on the fuelrail, but in the flexible fuelline right after the fuel rail..just cut it and place the FPR in between with some hoseclamps..Remove old FPR, leave pulsation damper in place and gut the original FPR mechanism of its internals..that will do as a plug for the hole thats created.
