We only change de springs.
Not the hole front strut.

I've read on the toyota club Belgium, it's NOT a PnP thing,

The struts of the ae86 wil NOT bolt 1o1 onto the triangle.

But i've been in contact with a guy from toyota3tc.com.

He has a KE10, swapped KE20 front axle bits in.
And later on, just swapped the AE86 front struts in, without any problems.
I asked him, and he said he didn't change anything else....

It's a pity we didn't try it when everything was loose

As far as I have read, the strut will bolt onto the lower controll arm. As you have discovered, the springdimensions are the same, so you can use the KE tophat to get the correct boltspacing up top. The only problem lies with the steering controll arms..These are the same diameter between TE27 and AE86 models, but the KE uses a smaller diameter pin. that would mean that we have to swap to the TE stuff. A probably better approach is to make ourselves a bumpsteer correction kit..that would cure 2 problems at the same time..can't be that difficult, just some minor machining work, but we'd have to think of a good way to secure everything.

A pedal to steer the rear
