how to do waterlines on the 20v?
"Tämmösellä modernilla autolla, niin mun mielestä, ei tämmöstä kisaa voi ajaa. Tää käy kunnon päälle eikä riitä aivot tähän touhuun!" ""With a modern car like this, in my opinion, a competition like this can't be driven. It's too physical and your brains can't cope with this stuff" -Henri Toivonen 2.5.1986- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OwgB4Xs4LVQ |

how to do waterlines on the 20v?
Eric the water pump sucks water, you cant change that so those pics of yours are backwards.
Are you planning to use the heater. Definately easier without it Yes you can block that water line off on the exhaust side at the back of head. That pipe labelled bend is your bypass pipe, you will need, or atleast its recommended to use it, allow water flow when thermo stat is cold/closed. Steve.....this is sparrrrrtan |

I'm going to do do this:
Note the hole tho make the water flow inside the head. And then use an RWD water pump Sarcasme is just one of the things I offer Daily driver: '92 Toyota Carina E GTI Rebuilt project: '86 Levin hatch |

how to do waterlines on the 20v?
yes i was playing with that idea too but the block off plate that is in my pictures came with my engine, so i might as well use that.
the back of the engine wont be a problem, it is the front that lokked like i would never figure it out. mr. pedersen: you completely block off the 2 holes on the back? wont that cut off the water flow through the head? or do you have a hollow space at the back of the plate? ( some stuff is hard to explain in english.. ) |

how to do waterlines on the 20v?
There is a hole inside the head that makes the water flow. Look through the right hole
I'm working on a solution to connect the hole in front of the head to the water pump but it isn't ready just yet... Sarcasme is just one of the things I offer Daily driver: '92 Toyota Carina E GTI Rebuilt project: '86 Levin hatch |
