3 piece wheels
So i picked up a set of 3 piece 13" graku wheels yesterday.
They are not bling and shiney anymore and i like to have them cleaned and dish polished etc.

Now can i just undo all bolts, clean the lot and put it back together myself?
Or is this a specialists job?

centers are pressed in. You can get the bolts out but mostly the centers wont come loose that easy.

There seems to be no pressing... the centers just sit in between of the 2 rim pieces...

The rear looks the same..
Only nuts instead of bolts.

exactly, there is a front ring, a plate wich is the center of the wheel and a back ring.
couple of nuts and bolts to hold it together.

the problem is the sealing between the 2 halves.

all my wheels are 3 piece design, but all of them are welded, i think because of air thighteness (spelling? Dumb question ) problems.

AFAIK they are sealed with a urethane sealer/adhesive. If you take
them apart you will have to clean off the old adhesive and remake
the joins. If you have a mag wheel repairer in your town, he should be
able to advise you.
