You have to do more cutting than you think..the rear support of your stock seats is connected to the rails..

intresting (i think) pics of my car (56k WARNING)
Small update:

The Recaros couldnt fit in, the height was too much and my feet were hiting the steering wheel Dumb question .

But my new KingDragon Carbon Kevlan racing seat DID fit. Smile

Thought, it still feels like i 'm driving a truch
comparing to the AE original seat. Angry
Steering wheel is still TOO LOW.

I think I can drop the seat for about 2 cm more, maybe that works.

You think a steering hub extention from 3t will help??

Pics will be posted in monday.

As promised...

I used the AE86 seat rails to weld the seat on so it still goes back and forward.

Still the steering wheel is too low close to my feet.

Check out that seat isnt going any lower.

You think a steering hub extentiuon from T3 will help?
The original hub is about 9,5 cm long, any idea how long is the T3 one?

In this PIC you can see what I mean...

The seat there is at the far BACK position, but you can get the idea

What's the problem?

You can't get in and out?
Or is it that you can't find a good position @ the steeringwheel?

No, I m still young, no problem getting in and out.

Problem is the steering wheel is too LOW close to my feet.

lol Smile

I'm young also, but my seat is so close to the steeringwheel that i need to fold myself into an envelope to get out of my car Smile

But luckily, my seats are really low, so i can find a nearly perfect position to drive.

Are yopu talkink to me?

I got no pictures, but I can tell you that the left rail on passenger seat and the right rail on drivers seat are not bolted and need cuting.

You have to cut in three places, one front and rear, where usually the bolts are and one more in the middle. To cut this one you have to unscrew the plastic thing and reclining mechanism.
