yes fine game.

demo can be played for free on net.

to really enjoy it you need a wheel with force feedback,
i have not much time to playing it, and only on keyboardSad

Physics are rubbish - the RWD cars just slide off the road with ease. I thought it would be easier with the wheel - it isnt.

I used to play this game a lot... I liked the online gaming, and the physics for an independent game where pretty good. I used the mouse and keyboard for control, wish I had a steering wheel though.

About the RWD cars: I tend to agree...they are damn near impossible to drive..but I have seen others drive them just fine so there must be a knack.
The FWD physics are very convincing if you ask me, and the blackwood track (or whatever it's called) is pretty fun for time attacks.

I play this sim for about 2½ years now, kinda addicted to it. If someone needs car/wheel -setups or whatever, just shout Smile The RWD's can feel a bit weird, but I can tell you, a) in S1 it was much worse b) the sim isn't finished yet, we'll have a pshysics update this year, I expect it somewhere in the summer c) with a proper set the RWD's (especially the XR & XRT (former GTT) really come alive. Oh and may I suggest you just buy the license, IMO the demo doesn't represent the sims potential !

p.s. There's no way you can cheat online, every server goes via the master server which in turn checkes your gamecodes.

when playing this game w/ DFP i realised that it lacks FF for the peddals. The steereng fedback is alright but when going 200+kph into a turn, stepping hard on the brakes it will just lock if you push the peddal 1 mm to much. so the braking is hard to master because there is no feel for when the brakes lock, you just have to learn to pres the peddal exactly 57 milimetres or whatewer..

the other thing that bothered me about this game is that they promised to keep the code free so alot of mods, custom tracks and cars could be added lateron.. but greed has gotten to them, when they saw the game was such a succes.
