looking to buy an 86
hi guys. im an american and i'm split between buying an ae86 or a nissan s13. Through your experience could you please tell me the advantages in having an 86 and also what to look for when buying one?

I guess you really need to think about what you expect from the car you want to buy... Are you after a drift car? Or do you want to use it as a daily driver?

In stock form the AE86 can be a good daily driver. However if the suspension is (mildly) tuned it may become an uncomfortable car for daily use.
As for interior space: there is a bit less interior space as in the S13 and you may sit a bit more comfortable in a S13 if you are very tall (over 6 foot 10 is about the max in a hachi). Apart from that: take the hachi! It is more fun!
