my project
Well I am going to track my progess and i guess let yall see what im doing.
October 2nd 2006 October 3, 2006 um sadly... yea it owns my protege lol. Yea today brandon came over and helped me get the car situated in the garage, I handed brock his rims and got the car in the air on 2 jackstands and 2 spares: 1 that was in the car and another brock let me borrow (thanks brock). I took the hood off and assessed what needs to be done. October 4, 2006 Went to class and got out early, started work on the car around 11:30ish AM. Pulled the fender off shortly after lunch. After dinner i wrestled with the bumper for a few hours till my father brought a 5foot pry bar out. LOL that did it. It honestly isnt as bad as it looks. October 16, 2006 Sorry its been a while since my last update. Ive been studying for brake systems finals. But yea i got the headlight off and I am beginning to take the condenser off (Yes it is depressurized). And yes, it is as bad as it looks. October 19, 2006 I got a 84 on my brake systems final . Um so I've been working about an hour or so every day and got the condenser off, and the a/c lines removed. Tonite I took off the washer fluid resivoir and coolant recovery tank assembly removed. I also got the radiator drained and pulled... I'm surprised it held pressure lol. I am still trying to find the oil leak, it looks like its comming from where the distributor meets the head. Eh Ill get on that later. Im tired. |

i bought the car in this condition. Some dipshit hit a garbage truck. He was about to scrap it but I bought it. I didnt want to see another hachi get crushed.
edit: oh and im doing a levin conversion. So anyone that wants to donate parts to help this poor hachi back to life would be greatly appreciated. Willing to trade some parts from the car that were in good condition |

It is near impossible to find levin conversion in the states. Actually what is proving hardest to find is the front lights.

Even in the EU the front lights are getting scarce. Senna tore down his hachi some time ago, but I don't know if he still got them.
