Why do you prefer 15"? Because of tire sizing?Hmm.
Take a look in this thread: http://www.aeu86.org/viewtopic.php?t=140&highlight=mx5 It has pictures of my old car (sniff ) with some factory option 15" alloys. These were the same weight as the common 15" rims, lower offset and 7" in diameter. I picked them up for 150E, but that took some searching. Hmm..you still haven't said "why" you want to change rims..
Still go where your heart leads you..only advice I would really want to give you is to do the suspension first (current dampers are shot, kyb for miata = not that good) through a decent set and then take a look at the car dropped. If don't have enough money to do it all in one go..go with the mods that will make your car more enjoyable. A miata with a Tein basic set (maybe 700E?) is a riot. I will try and write an article comparing Ivans mildly tuned AE86 to a stock MX5 with fresh Tein HA's..Doing the install by the end of May. Oooh and try and get rid of the gold stripe over the sides of the car..brrrrrrrrr. These are all opinions offcourse, but I just know how enjoyable a well set up mx5 can be and feel everyone deserves to have that pleasure at least once. You are doing what? Have you bought another MX5 over there in jappoland? BTW, midly tuned is the wrong word for what I've done, slapped together a few suspension bits and pieces is more like it. My car is horrible to drive with the loose rear anti roll bar, and the weird spring combo doesnt work magic for all out grip either. I suspect my car will be bare naked stripped by the end of may...but then I have been saying that for a long time...

Ok correction..I will not be doing a comparo, unless ofcourse someone else will let me have a go.. Nope, I will not buy another car untill the KEAE252786 is finished and rolling. Ambitions for this car are reducing with each passing moment..need to get it on the street and driveable.
A good friend of mine ordered the Teins and I will be helping him set up the car. Hoping to tame some of the oversteer that is inherent with the setup. Oh and I would call your car mildly tuned...given a slightly more aggresive driving style, she purrs like a kitten ;-) A wheel to steer the front of the car A pedal to steer the rear |

That in the test-pics isnt my car. If I had this one I would keep these 14'' rims. I love em.

Jup, but its a lot better designed, the shocks are rebuildable and you get a complete set consisting of coiloversleeves, springs and shocks..Its money spent in a place where it will put a grin on your face for years to come. Imho where you should spend the money..not on the bling.
Add the cost of groundcontroll sleeves to the AGX's and you are at the pricepoint of the Teins. Again: check out http://www.miata.net for experiences on all the different sets. They are an older crowd, much more sceptical and the Teins had a hard time at first..Koni's/AGX's+groundcontroll setups were the norm. Now everyone is switching to the teins, take a look at their stories or wait for mine (end may). If you want I still have a complete set of 14" daisies somewhere under my bed, that I'll let go cheap. But I think the shipping costs will make it more worthwile to source a set in Greece..Surely that has to be possible for 100-150E!
