one piece driveshaft??
I have used both and I'm now using a two piece with a centre bearing.
Vibration from the one piece shaft was my issue, it was professionally built by a very reputable company too. Difficult because of the pinion angle I believe. An analogue brain in a digital World |

one piece driveshaft??
You would have more hp losses on an original one, but the most important thing about the one-piece design is that it is lighter and with less rotational inertia, which is a good thing.... Dunno if you can live with the vibration though!

one piece driveshaft??
Just use stock unless you are forced to go custom driveshaft. All the theoretical babble ends up amounting to nothing much noticeable, besides the vibrations when the pinion angle is out.
Its not light enough to make any difference (and the weight is right where you want it). The rotational inertia is identical, certainly compared to the flywheel. Lots of other places where you can spend the money. If you do buy one, adjustable 4 links are a must, as is andrews article about setting the angles. Just another opinion to add to the bunch.
