silvertop alternator bracket compared to GTS

I need to know the different on the GTS 4AG alternator bracket and the Silvertop's bracket. my reasoning is because I followed http://forums.club4ag.com/zerothread?id=1012 this tutorial for converting the waterlines in the silvertop. but now the silvertop's bracket for the alternator is completely in the way for the water intake/outlet. So i need to know if there is a way to mount the alternator on the drivers side instead. idk where GTS 4ag mounts but I assume its on the drivers side
