what 4.7 final ratio??
Hi mates, i'm thinking to buy a 4.7 final ratio from tokyoseven
Any body has one since a lot of Kms? Is it durable or spits teeths? Noisy? (no for a track car) I know acceleration will be better, but it feels? I calculated at 3.000RPM in 5th will go to 100 Km/h (on tacho), it is truth? Other durable marks are better? (like Weir Performance, etc) Thanks, all oPINIONs are welcome  |

The 4.77 final drives are a great addition to our cars. especially if you are running a LSD with a somewhat stock motor. It gives you much more usable power in the mid to high rpm's.
The Good *Great acceleration *Great Braking *New unit, has not been abused yet. *Is a stronger unit since it has newer materials and forging techniques. * NOT 25 years old. The Bad * Will make a slight noise (This may differ on the installer, but it will give a very little whine as there is more pressure on the gears.) If you have full interior and installed and shimmed properly you will barely hear it. *If not installed properly will be very loud and break gears. what 4.7 final ratio??
I like 4.7 on my stock 4a-ge.
Car feels like it has more torque. I would recommend it. Drifting - best fun you can have in your car with your pants on! |

what 4.7 final ratio??
your tacho still points the same speed / rpm because the signal comes out of the transmission and not out the diff..
but when driving 120 @ 4k on your tacho its about 100/105 on gps.. '87 levin coupé |
