I dont think they will be a plug´n´drive fit, but they can be installed in the car... Its just a question on how much fabrication that needs to be done.

And if much fabrication is needed why not using a nice new bucket seat?

that's what I was thinking. they were just as the pick a part, so I thought I would just ask. I plan on buying some nice seats eventually, just figured I shouldn't have to sit on hot fake cloth every day.

I know that some people have made it fit...they look very much alike too.
The supra seats have more adjustments and are more luxureous, they're also a lot heavier.. FABRICA MI DIEM, PVNC! |

I wouldnt buy that ebay crap... go ahead and get the supra seats if you like them, if you want bucket seats buy some proper ones.. Things can get really uncomfortable if they dont fit just right.
I would only go for the supra seats if I had an SR5 though...the stock GTS seats are pretty nice to begin with. FABRICA MI DIEM, PVNC! |

No-one can recommend nice cheap seats, because the seat has to be comfortable for you. I went to a shop where they had about 50 different models of bucket seats, and not one fitted me correctly..
Secondly..you get what you payed for..the cheap ebay specials might have strong welds and tubes..but they might not..you'll find out if and when you actually have to depend on them some time. Same goes for the cheaper "brand" seats..even if they have FIA certification. Personally..if you are not willing to shell out 4-500 bucks for a good composite seat, I would stick to junkyard specials, as I expect them to be safer then the cheap buckets. And at the junkyard, not many seats are as good as the original toyota AE86 GTS and MR2 seats..so those would be my recommendation..You could try some Honda Civic DelSol seats too.
