thread size stock nut for shocks
i'm getting confused now.
i have stock nuts (which fit my Tokico HTS shocks) but which size of thread do those nuts have? M14x1,5? M12x1,25? "It's all about the heart, the people who focus on parts, turbo's and all that stuff...they're just losers." -Shinji Minowa |

Why don't you measure the Tokico thread?
Measure the diameter with a vernier or rule - around 14~15 will be M14, 12~13 will be M12. Then measure the distance for 11 threads i.e. 10 thread gaps. Divide the measured value by 10 and you've got the thread pitch. Easy! My guess would be M14 for the front struts and M10 or M12 for the rear dampers. Note most nuts/bolts have two thread types - Fine and Course, each has a different pitch. Some manufactures stick to one pitch type but others change depending on application. |
