Levin Coupe 3d Model
Hi guys,im a big japanese car fan,im currently working on a big project of about 50 of my favourite japanese cars and mostly drifters.
Im working on the trueno coupe at the moment.Im asking for some help.

This model will be for my portfolio work for Computer game and animation.so it is not a high polygon mesh.

Im having a hard time working out and finding pictures for the zouki and kenki front and rear bumper pictures, and also what the actual changes are from kouki to zenki.

Im hoping you can help me and like my project, please point out any innacuracies you may find as im not working from any blueprints.

Thanks for looking!

So, do you want ours opinion about the front and rear bumper?

Good luck with your project/game?

Looks pretty good.... Well the front bumper you have on that model is a zenki one. The kouki ones have a corner light that extends up to the side.
The headlights should be a little wider, the front bumper lip is a little bit inaccurate, and you are missing the sideskirts. In general it's a really really good start. Try browsing this forum, you will find many detailed pics to continue. Thumbs up!

Very impressive so far! Thumbs up!
Hope you can make it an accurate model!

But your model is a zenki Levin, not a Trueno...

In basic are the front parts of the 2 door coupe models exactly the same as their 3 door counterparts. The rear is the same for both the Levin and Trueno, except they use different tail lights:

Rear differences are:
- different rear bumper (hardly noticeable)
- the kouki taillights go partly under the boot for a few cms... (see image of the taillights)

For the Trueno front, zenki vs kouki:
http://www.aeu86.org/viewtopic/ae86/p/22114#22114

Front differences are:
- kouki has a different bumper and different citylights+indicator lights in bumper
- popups have different "eyelids"
- on the kouki the side lights follow the popup eyelids instead of being a more seperate light (quite difficult to explain...)

here you can find a higher res version of the zenki Trueno:
http://www.aeu86.org/viewtopic/ae86/p/5321#5321

Front differences are:
- different bumper and indicator lights
- kouki has a plexiglass grille (mostly with foglights) while zenki has a louvred grille/rotating grille
- kouki has black eyelids on top of the headlights
- sidelights are slightly different

For the Levin front, zenki vs kouki:

and here a high res version of the zenki Levin:

And then I probably forgot a bunch of stuff! Big Grin

Where are you working from? surely a real example (s) would be better for you.

An 86 is for Life, not just for Christmas
