The ka24? it is a truck engine Smile

I owned 3 of them Smile Really nice engines, good driveability and stronger then all other engines i've had.
Turbocharging will make it quite expensive, i guess you can buy an sr20det for less, and that is already turbocharged..
I have a nice sr20det redtop engine for sale, with fmic kit and frontpipe for a very reasonable price.
Dunno what you paid for the ka24de but with all the bits and bobs you have to add on it i guess it is going to get quite expensive.

Good luck on the project though, KE70 is the best corolla ever!

I'm going to turbo that on serial internals with 0.5Bar. I'm going to use VEMS ECU (it have a autotuning).
I bought engine for about 200EUR. In Poland there are a lot of sr-s with broken Y.
KA24 haven't Y and it have more torque than Sr thats why i have chosen it.

yes i guess rocker arms. it is a common problem on the sr20 but can easily be fixed by installing rocker arm stoppers.
