Whilst the software will allow downloading of different maps to suit different engines it will also allow changes to the base map. On some engines although sadly not the 4AGE you can modify the rev limit too.
This unit is for ignition only and is designed to work with the original ECU

^^ Totta will probably chime in, but make sure your 12v+ switched source is live while the car is cranking over. Y'know how accesories like the stereo and lights don't work while cranking the engine.

You're probably aware of this already... Just incase though...

Yeah, I do have an ICON Race, but it is on my Subaru Same crap eh?
I wish i had another direction for you... Do be carefull though, if you have constant power to the coil for too long without it discharging, you can pooch the coil. Had this problem with an ill installed piggyback.

You can download everything except the spark maps.
Above you will find the wiring for the Toyota 4AGE Superchip.
they are password protected under a folder on the e-tuning (superchip dealer) website.


Unit needs b+ and E01
The other two wires must be spliced into IGt to completely intercept the signal, not piggyback.

Looks like superchips probably just increase dwell for more spark?
With no rpm reference they cant be altering timing, unless its looking at number of incoming Igbt/min...hmmmm....
