will_drift_4_food Wrote:Awesome info. Thumbs up! Keep it coming. I don't know why I'm having such a hard time with it. Maybe it's because my "swap-in-a-box" was made up of parts from different areas of the world. Who knew there were so many variations? I think I read somewhere that even the dealerships are sometimes uncertain which equipment came on which chassis. I think doing two projects at once is also confusing me. Banging head I'll check my ignitors again tomorrow.

When you hooked up the injectors management, you need to check that all the four injectors got 12V from ECU (ignition switch ON). I made new injector wiring, because my original harness didn't work.

Almost started yesterday Confused

Yeah, They all have +12V when the Key is "ON". I need to make sure that the injectors maintain that during cranking. I got a set of noid lights the other day; I need to make sure that they are firing at all.

I got the engine, harnesses, transmission, etc. as a lot from a guy that was going to use it for a Locost/Seven project. I think the harness is a Euro MAP harness, but I don't know if the ECU is Euro or JDM. The injectors are blue, low impedance injectors. I know that the ignitor I received is an VAST ignitor. But, the dizzy was an ESA dizzy. So, nothing seems to go together.

I have since purchased two ESA ignitors, but aside from the fact that they plug into the harness better, I am still right where I started. I'll keep at it.

the 12v shouldn't come from the ecu , they need to come from your harness.... the only connection between ecu and injectors is the ground wire.

Injectors should always have 12v+ (with key switch ON) and the ECU gives ground to the injectors for them to fire.

good work Smile keep going ...

Sorry.... 12V coming from the harness, from a switched battery source, of course.
