Hey Conrad! Those AP Racing brakes... I've been eying them up with Envy! Looking forward to seeing them on your car. Sheesh, with the Tilton setup they're going to be amazing! Makes my Greddy 6 pots look Mickey Mouse!

Sounds like it's really taking shape now. Your prop and additional Bride parts are leaving shortly. Wanna see this car completed - can't wait!

Fire me an e-mail back soon.

Wow, what an awesome build so far! Crazy Huh

Hey just a note, if it makes the shifter position any easier.

There are two positions for the shifter bracket, you can move it foward to the next set of holes, and flip around the piece that attaches to the shaft coming out of the back of the box, and it moves shifter position further foward.

Based on my swap, looking at his engine position i'm guessing he has already did that, even in its forward position on box, shifter is still wayyyy back in tiny ae86 shell

Conrad, any info on pricing for brakes Yummie! Yummie!

Yeah but if nothing has changed since that pic, then it's still in the rearwards position, you can see the further foward bolt holes where the red arrow is. It doesnt change the position of the engine or gearbox.

But yeah, looks as though the carina is a bit more accomodating, I really wasnt keen on cutting through that same sort of crossmember there, moving it to foward position gave me a bit more room. Thankfully didnt have to cut it in my case.

Look foward to thread updates!

Thanks for the comments guys, shifter is still in the original position, I will see how I get on.

As for the brakes I suspect they will be too expensive for the masses but I will get a price for the front and rear kits once I know they fit correctly on the car Smile
