Long time no update..
Got the ae86 front crossmember in, all powdercoated and all. engine went in for a testfit, fits like a glove! ![]() Then i started working on the pedals since the KE has a cable clutch fitted and it need to be rebuild to hydraulic. KE firewall ![]() TE firewall ![]() almost the same but it needs a little bit of modification. Redrill a couple of holes and when that is done i will be able to fit the TE pedals into the KE. KE pedals, cable clutch ![]() TE pedals, hydraulic clutch ![]() TE has two pieces, the clutch pedal is mounted seperately. Then i started working on the axle's.. ![]() Rusted small one is std. KE axle, yellow one ( ![]() Notice the difference in diff size and rear brake size. There also is a light difference in lengt of propshaft, the TE axle is a little shorter due to the length of the diff housing. Today i was fighting to get the T3 tracktion brackets on the TE axle, the middle hole willnot fit ![]() ![]() ![]() After that it is off to get the roll cage in! |
