14" Tires ?
Hi
Spent few days now trying to find 14" tire with for my AE86. I don't want bigger rims, these 14x6.5 are perfectly fitted for near stock Corolla. Tried to find anything from 185/45/14 to 185/60/14 or even 195/45/14 but couldnt find anything good, only "eco savers" and "energy contact" types which descriptions start with "low milage, long lasting" without a word about performance or cornering capabilities. So, i ended up pretty frustrating. What do you recommend ? As i said, Corolla is nearly stock with 14x6.5J rims Thanks |

Camskill has a pretty good selection of high performance tyres and they deliver internationally as well. Here's some trackday tyres in 185/60R14, for example:

14" Tires ?
my advice is : switch to 15" rims.
for example 195/50/15 ( decent ) tyre is around 40 euros and that 185/60/14 eco tyre is 50 euros minimum. ![]() "Faster, Faster, until the thrill of speed overcomes the fear of death." -Hunter S. Thompson |

14" Tires ?
I need them for everyday driving.
T1R is avaliable in 195/45/14 which is bit too wide. No 15" rims, really like 14" ![]() |

14" Tires ?
I have 185/60 R15 Falken ZE-912 on my Carina and had 195/60 R14 Falken ZE-512 on the Corolla. Both tires are dirt cheap (between 40 and 45 euros per tire) and offer quite good grip in dry conditions. However the ZE-512 don't grip very well in the wet and during the winter I also had bad practice with the ZE-912 in the cold wet surfaces.
But if you seek better performing tires you may want to read here as well: http://www.aeu86.org/viewtopic/street-ti...ice/t/6428 1983 - AE86 Sprinter Trueno - import project 2013 - Honda Civic sport - daily driver 2004 - AEU86 dot ORG - daily domain Support our forum, buy from the AEU86 shop: ![]() |

14" Tires ?
I use Bridgestone Turanza's, 185/60r14 sized..
They cost a bit more, but they are very good tires. Like them a lot better than the old falken ze 512's, and they perform good in both wet and dry conditions. These are not performance tyres though... I would also advise getting a set of 15"s for those purposes, but they are more than adequate for spirited street driving. FABRICA MI DIEM, PVNC! |

Nobody likes /45 - /50 ?
![]() Someone tried ? If you guys on EU roads use 185/60/14 i should give up on lower profiles since Serbian roads are way more bumpy. |

14" Tires ?
My current daily (mazda 323) rolls on 185/65 stock, so I needed to stay close to that to avoid big speedo inacuracy.
For serbian roads I would 200% sure stick to 60+ profile tyres...I know the state they're in since I go to serbia every few months nowadays (to see my gf). I even dislike 45-50 profile tyres on dutch roads...60 is so much more comfortable. FABRICA MI DIEM, PVNC! |

14" Tires ?
As said before:
For daily use stick to Bridgestone / Michelin or other quality tyres...(or defy death and buy Tigar tyres ![]() For track use and/or good looks get yourself some 15" wheels, so much easier to find cheap good tyres for those. FABRICA MI DIEM, PVNC! |
