Gorgeous colour! my IS200 was that hue (3 part pearl is a bitch to colour match when I had my bumper repainted!) but when I repaint my Levin I'm thinking of doing it that colour too RokuSteady : Shakotan - Tsuraichi - Hippari - Onikyan : 神奈川 様式 |

This is the final front end "treatment". I say treatment, because it isn't really an effective bumper. It is effective in keeping the front end stiff, while at the same time dropping 8-9 kilos because of removing the OEM USA bumper (seen in the initial photos) The slight droop on the ends will be re shaped to fit the curve of the nose as it does in the center. Once it is finished, I'll have it powder coated semi gloss black to match the moldings Dan - You can | .... OR you can ask for help!!! Surreptitious.....
Things are coming together... the car should be back home this week - yeah... I know I said that a week+ back... but the sum of the parts is becoming a "whole"........
FOHA fitted... looks nice! Here are a few more of the body.... She looks much better in person, then in these pics! Note how nice all the black trim is now. She looks sweet, even if I do say so myself! Here is a bit more on the front end... VERY aggressive.... The gaps in the body(from the bumper) that remain.... will be Frenched over to make small gill type scoops next fall/year when I have more budget. More to come.... and with the body coming home soon... the "more" I speak of is getting it wired, and fired! Dan - You can | .... OR you can ask for help!!! The bumper/bomber bar still needs final prep, and then an epoxy semi gloss black that should match the grill in color, and tone - but you get the idea how about a few before/after sets.... before.... after.... note how all the window trim is now semi gloss black to match the front window trim Before.... after...... More to come......... Dan - You can | .... OR you can ask for help!!! OST Porting service - http://hachiroku.net/forums/showthread.php?t=19991 |

Can't stop on the outside and drivetrain... got to get the interior back into condition too. Above are 2 of 3 parts to the ventilation system, the blower box(in both photos), and the routing/heater core box(defrost, heater combination), the duct between them is the only thing absent. They were filthy, nasty, disgusting... but that is expected after 26 years! The foam seals were flaking to nothing! I spent the better part of 4 hours today cleaning all the parts, blowing out years of debris and then installing new foam seals all over the unit to keep the air inside the ducts, and so maximize the efficiency of the system. even spent time cleaning the dash... got all those yucky sticky bits out... it looked like someone poured something disgusting back there once... well, its clean now, along with the duct work not in the above post All of this in preparation to it getting wired There are many things I KNOW how to do.... there are somethings I DON'T know how to do........... The OEM harness gives up its connectors(and short sections of wire) for the good of the project. As I said... I DON'T know wiring... but the man whose back of the head you see is Mark, he knows wiring. There is quite a bit MORE involved in wiring a street car, then wiring a drifter/racer, as Mark figures.... The harness gradually coming together! Dan - You can | .... OR you can ask for help!!! OST Porting service - http://hachiroku.net/forums/showthread.php?t=19991 |

Wiring always looks like a hell of a job. Probably because it is.
I've got a degree in electrical engineering, and even to me the task of rewiring a whole car seems daunting. Glad to see you've got someone to help you out with it.. a car like yours deserves the best. FABRICA MI DIEM, PVNC! |
