Better still, you guys knoiw what a ferry costs? Way too expensive for my unemployed ass. Though the tracks looks VERY good for sliding.

Dude, you should seriously consider moving to a place thats somewhere near civilisation.

Either that or start a campaign to move all of the decent motoring events up north. Cool

Ferries SUCK, damn ripoffs!! Cheapest I've found so far is 300 pounds for a return ticket.... Only if we go without car things start to become cheaper then you can cross for around 60 pounds on one of the special mini cruises...

Hey Jon,

I just checked, I can get 2 return tickets on easyjet to edinburg for about 200 euros. I could fly there and hitch a ride with youSmile

Awell we'll see, I dont have the cash available in may to take a 300 pound ferry crossing..

Might have to put a second seat in the car then ! There is also a crossing to Rosyth or Newcastle to consider Mux, might be cheaper. When i was looking into coming over for Jaspers car i looked at Newcastle to Ijmuiden as an affordable crossing.

Thanks for the advice about moving Matt ! We do have knockhill that is only 120 miles away or the local aerodrome is being used for bike events and drag stuff now the Americans have left, trying to pursuade them to do some proper car stuff. I need somewhere to practice !
