You can get ones for a press, like this

OR screw together ones, like I have

Sorry for the big pic.

The first ones I think will punch their own hole. The ones like I have, you first need to make a hole

Yes, the compromise would be that you would effectively have just four gears. 1st is too low for gravel even with a standard 4.3 ratio.
But 2nd gear with a 5.3 would give between 40-45 mph (at around 7000rpm) on a 13" forest tyre.
My type 9 with a 2.39 1st on 4.3 final drive gives 40mph (13" wheels @ 7700rpm)

hmm, i dont know about you, but 40mph is way way too long for my idea of a 1st gear to drive out to...

Brake with the left hand, steer with the right foot...

Not too bad on the loose, should only pull away once on a rally and from there on in you're in profit. Great for hairpin bends etc.
When I get a chance I will try a 4.8 though.

I need to get my corolla in the rally business ... but there is a problem ... to get the racing approval I need to show them the FIA type-approval certificate.
Do any of you have something like that?
