I see a lot of rust, but most of it is not that bad. Only the boot and rear side are quite rusted through.

Well, today I picked up my new roof!!!

Len and I went to fellow forum member Jasper.
He is cutting a Hachi to bits and was so kind to give me the roof and some other parts I can use for my project.

this ae86 was from Senna was sold to Eric then to someone I don't know. who put it up for sale. And we decided it was at an end. The front plate was trashed the front left chassis member bent and the cars back fell apart from misery.

Yes it could have been saved.. Now it just saves a different hachi

well actually, it belonged to jasper earlier in its live, then it was sold to somebody who wants to stay unknown, i bought it from him, sold it to Jmeister and he sold it to jasper again..

now you guys have a piece and jasper still owns the rest

Let me correct you
* It was Jaspers levin. Pretty nice drifter.
* It was mine, i gave it a a 2 way diff, a racing clutch from illegal garage and a ridiculously ugly trueno front end. Very fun to drive. Then i had the misfortune of having someone else crash it. With the front end smashed in, i build it back to levin. Later, rust was taking it's toll, the gearbox went old, and then a another (minor) crash put a hole in the back. Havin ran out of money and patience i decided to take my loss and sold the car in many many pieces. Jasper took the empty chassis back on his (car) ambulance.
