Euro Meet 2005 ?

I know, but these kind of things need lots of planning up front. The RX7 crew are meeting next year if I'm reading mux's post correctly, but they have to pay for it this year because it's necessary to book early.
There are already a few international meetings in the toyota community, mostly international means 3 or 4 neighbouring country's (like the ITT in venlo, netherlands). Unless you organise something HUGE, I dont think many people will be interested. That's why I like the idea of either gettng a lot more euro ae86's in, or joining up with another slightly exclusive company (RX7 for example) that has the same goals (trackdriving/drifting).

Hey Ivan,

If we get 4 or 5 people interested in joining the RX7 thing that would still be nice. Its going to be held anyways, why not have some fun along with them.

Wherever we have our meeting, there will always be people who have to travel long distances. I dont think we are ready to try to do anything like that in a big way yet anyways.

If we held a meeting closer by home like at niederheim it will probably turn into an almost Dutch only with one or two other members from other countries meeting, not a euro meeting. That still is a nice thing to organise, but different then what we are trying to do here.

I think for now we should just see if we can do some small things, like joining up with other events or doing a more informal meet at say the Nurburgring. When we grow we can start thinking big.

just to check i e-mailed Higgy there & told him tha´d i´d be glad to help out with the arrangments for the meet.

i checked also the internet maps..

& the different routes are......

South of Sweden - about 750 kms
South of UK - about 800 kms
East of Holland - about 600kms
Spain / South of France - 750 kms
No-one will have more than a days calm drive.

ONe thing though - is that Chzeckia is NOT a member of the EU.

he´s saying that the travel from his home to Chzekia & to Randers would be the same.
