Duration -> rpm and power
Lift -> torque

duration and lift -> lots of nm @ low rpm and insane power @ high rpm Smile

And i'm wondering, what kind of input i need to put into small port 16v 4age to match the BT 20v's standard output?

I want to know which one has the most return for the investment....Thanks

Ih 160ks pleases you, 20V BT is much easier and cheaper.
If need more, than 16V. Much more options.

Why is that Uzelac? Everyone says that, but who has actually tried to simply throw some 300deg cams into a blacktop, megasquirt it and call it a day?
Would be interesting to see some hard data

Do the same and have the same power from 16v.
And you don't have to change engine (BT aren't really cheap) and install it (ain't cheap if you can't do it alone). Beside, avaliability of parts, new or used, for 16V is much better.

Thats why, IMHO.

How do you reckon? Just trying to see what your rationale is..
16v will need throttlebodies, pistons, cams, shim-under kit, valvesprings and ECU.
I'm thinking of doing just a 20V and dumping in cams+ECU..grand total is far less then frankensteining a 16v..just don't know what will happen..maybe the australians know more..

When building something, i allways account for rebuild.
New pistons, ECU (MS) and cams are costs in both options.
It comes if it is more expensive to put ITB and valvesprings on 16v or bu new BT 20V and install it. For me it seems tuning 16v is cheaper.

But, me first would buy 20V BT and be happy with 160PS AE86.
Unfortunately, they are too expensive and highly unavaliable in my region so i went 16V way.
