The car's seen a bit of track action... but (almost) zero modifications!
Go-kart track: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Onboard (excuse the crappy webcam exterior image... it's a work in progress!): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j3cUaQggQuk With a few Toyotas: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ovOn8XU4XX8 Meanwhile we (finally) took care of the wheels: ![]() ![]() at Estoril racetrack: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() And back at a go-kart track: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() A litlle video http://s83.photobucket.com/albums/j294/n...e_0002.flv we finally solved our lack-of-proper-shocks problems. Thanks to Koni Portugal, we now have reduced length in our AE86's Koni Sport rear shocks and Koni Sport's adapted to our front struts as well ![]() |

Nice find Lajoosh! ![]() Aparently is to be lighter and to keep the fly cooler ![]() Didn´t know if it is better or not, still it was used in a Escort 4AGE Rally car until he change engine. |

Hi Doctor!!! Will do!!
![]() Well, We were seeing the wrong side of the numbers when we reach the point to upgrade the 4K. Even if it went near 110bhp (very difficult), the price plus reliability doesn´t fit for us. But I think you too chose the 4AGE side, right? The R888 in it´s medium compound is amazing in the KP. Lots of grip, surprisingly on wet too, have a good lateral wall and it lasts considerably more than heavier cars. It made so for 4 trackdays and I think it will last 3 more. Currently I´m buying a set of R888 for my Gti, so after January trackday I can give a bigger feedback. |

yeah, i know what you mean, i had a 105 bhp 4K, but it lasted only 50km before it commited suicide.
I'm going 2T-G in my KE20 now, more weight and less power then a 4A-GE ![]() i had A048R's on my FWD starlet, it's nice to feel what differance they make ![]() Next set of semislicks are going to be R888s to, i heard good things about them.
