Mikzu IV ae86 from Luxemburg+ shuttle + ke25 + 280z + chaser

Inside! Without the airbox they were not as effective. They are the short type 30-35mm and actually gain kW across entire rev range. I'll post the dyno curves for you (this is std intake curve, will add Imec, just have to find...)



He found running these back to back on dyno INSIDE factory airbox, netted an EXTRA 3kw below 4200rpm and an extra 6kw above 4900rpm!!! (with no air box it lost out quite a bit!)

This mod was performed on a low km stock AE111 Levin. With fresh oil, new air filter, fuel filter, reset timing, netted 94kw, then fitted Imec ram tubes netted 100kw.

Hmm Now I have both so I can compare soon...

The red one's one the photo above I allready tested on the road. Without airbox it is only fun above 7k.

But the sound.... is like we should say in the Netherlands : GEIL !

I just ordered a new engine from holland. the crank on the old one was scratched on the 4 conrod position, so the new bearings were gone in 30min.
I will repair the old engine with better time...

ae111 finally fully road legal, I had to adapt corolla ae100 headlights to pass the luxembourgish Mot. and the engine works great...

the ae86 should be repainted in the near future. I received my 4agze harness from phoenix tuning but the car does not run. it starts very easily but shuts down after a few revolutions, like it would not use the main injectors, only the start injector...

I think you'll find the red ones will perform better INSIDE air-box on road car.

If the aluminium velocity stacks are to suit AE101 throttle bodies - the diameter will need to be enlarged slightly (+3mm Ø) to match AE111.

AHHH Your the guy who outbid me on that damn wagon!!! I want another one so bad. Here is the current one. 16x9 and 16x10 steffan evos with a supercharged CRX motor (not in yet). I have a brand new d16 with a turbo kit that was supposed to go in it until I bought the crx motor and supercharger. Awesome little cars.

yeah I have been drooling on your wagon for quite some time
and decided by accident to bid on this one on ebay

for the ae111 I abandoned all modification plans for now, gotta concentrate on the ae86 and my wagon

I only wanted that one because it was only 30kms from my house and that I have so many parts for Hondas I could build a turbocharged version with full exhaust, and full Tein suspension. I will find another one soon enough. Have fun with it, and if you ever want to sell it give me a call.

hmm had a similar problem - http://www.aeu86.org/viewtopic/ae86/t/49...c/start=25
there's an additional ground wire for the injectors in the stock loom going onto the intakeplenum... without it the engine dies quickly after start...

have you fitted the japspeed 4-2-1 plenum yet I'm interested if it clears the LHD steering column...

yeah all the masses are connected to the ground, but I noticed that one of the coils is not receiving any signal from the igniter :/
so only 2 spark plugs are sparking. both coil packs and ignition leads are ok, I checked them by cross connecting... "igniter is also grounded"
I was wondering that it must be my 7mgte igniter that I wired like told here: http://www.club4ag.com/faq_and_tech_page...%20DLI.htm
any ideas? or has someone ever really done this 7mgte to 4agze ignitor conversion?

and the japspeed collector did not work it touches the the car below the pedals but clears the steering, so Im plaing to extend the collector 2" more to the ground
