MULTI monitor race game

hello GAME GURUS AND RACE GAMES EXPERTS

well my concern is just simple
i know what a PLAYSTATION 1 ,2 ,3 is
never played th eXbox
and i know how to play NEEDFORSPEED in the computer

thats it.

But in my necesity of practicing ,i think this is a good idea

DOES ANYONE OR ANYBODY CAN TELL ME
HOW MUCH THIS CAN COST ME?

-- 3 monitor ($ aprox i dont know the brand of those monitor)

-- cpu? ($ aprox) is just need 1 cpu?or more than 1?

-- steering wheel and pedals ( i dont know if that pedals in the game are special for the playstation ,how much)

--is there any adaptation?(aprox$)

the bass,and speakers are not necesary i have a power/mixer

just those items in total HOW MUCH COST ME A SYSTEM LIKE THE VIDEO.

dunno about the rest but wheel and pedals are Logitech G25 and his cost is around 200$

It is done with special software like SoftTH (triple head).
It works like this:

What matters is your main videocard: that will do all the work for all three screens and then offload it to a secondary videocard (with the other two monitors attached) which do nothing else than display what the main card rendered.

The screens itself don't matter much: with that distance you won't see all the details and stuff... So you can just use quite "cheap" monitors there.

Some games support this (live for speed I believe?). The newer batch of ATi video cards also come with multi monitor support. For the rest it's mostly up to your imagination what you do with the controls.

Basically it makes 3 monitors appear as a single monitor that can be driven by a single graphics card, all the game then needs to do is output the game in the required resolution and the HW box splits it between the three monitors.
