How many Hachis are left on the road?

There must be more, i think there will be 25-30 on the road and about 100 in garage in every condition.
I have the papers from 5 crashed cars and sold 2 cars to upper austria.
I know a car dealer in lower austria that has minimum 3 hachis in very very poor condtion+ 2 very good condition....
i know a car performance shop in upper austria that has 1 bad hachi and 1 very nice one...
a friend of me has 3 hachis, he also lives in lower austria..
I know a person in vienna who has 1 hachi with NOS...
I guy in lower austria collect them, about 5 and also has a SR5 with pop-up lights

and so on...

11 road cars (4 that run and are drivable)
3 cars that cant be saved because of rust..

total of 18 cars

i read that about 28 are registered in Germany. If it is true, nobody knows. I guess about 50 are still in Germany. If you want to know it exactly, just ask the "Kraftfahrbundesamt".

I find 28 hard to believe. There are certainly more hachis in the Netherlands alone and Germany is a much bigger country. Should be at least 50 to 100 IMO.
Then again: you sold the majority to Poland, Czech and other countries in the 90s.

Registred just means these Cars have a numberplate and are currently driving on german roads. It doesn´t include the cars on red and temporary numberplates.
But indeed most of our AE86 have been exported!

There are project AE86´s, like mine and one of my mates, they haven´t been registered for ages and they´re not listed.
Most AE86 ended up like this, so there are more!
