TRD rear shocks 48531-AE881
Hey guys,
I have the TRD 6kg springs in the back, and brought the TRD blue 8 way adjustable shocks, item 48531-AE881 and they have such a long stroke they dont leave the springs captive when the car is jacked up! Have I brought the wrong shocks? What am I missing? |

48531-AE881 = Lmax 553 Lmin 333 Rate 160/60 Street & Gymkhana
48531-AE831 = Lmax 473 Lmin 293 Rate 155/50 Race (short stroke) So 80mm shorter at full stretch. Cheers... jondee86 |

Even with those short stroke shocks, there is still 20mm of uncaptive rear springs with the blue TRD 6kg springs, guess Ill need a spacer made up, damn.

A spacer wil make the car sit higher no? Problem is in the ratio of unweighted and weighted spring lengths. You could try some straps like some people use.
A wheel to steer the front of the car A pedal to steer the rear |
