AE86's in Sweden

Hi all!

I own one of the five (think so, unless any newer ones imported) AE86's here in sweden. All are imported from Denmark.
The AE86 where never sold here in Sweden, and mine are the fourth in here.

I got an 1986 Kouki Levin.
The car is currently (been since the winter...) under works. TRD 2-way LSD is gonna be mounted and new paint is on the way.

I'll see when i get around and find the energy to finish it.

I know ae86's are pretty rare in Sweden. Are you a friend of Kristian? I know him through club4ag... Are you the owner of the (previously?)extremely rusted hatchback he posted pics of? Anyway, welcome to our (still) small forum. Where trying to make this a home for european AE86 drivers (if I'm not mistaken) so if you know some of the other 4 hachi owners over there please pass on the url.

Nice to have you here! You may want to post a message in the new member section aswell as all international chitchat will be there. The regional forums are targetted as the name sais, regionally so when you bring the other 4 AE86 owners in here you're free to talk in swedish here

How does the AE86 handle the winters in Sweden? don't you guys have major problems with rust?

Do you have some pictures of your Levin?

Yeah, i know Kristian, he was the first one to import an AE86 here.

My car isn't the car you're thinking of, but i know that guy too and seen his car.

Nice car you have there as well Lars, love the atiwe alloys! You guys in Denmark seem to be doing pretty well. Theres always at least one AE86 up for sale at toyotaextreme and often with souped up engines (GZE-GTE) as well. Would have owned a hachi right now if you Danish types reacted better on English emails

Hmmmm, if you still have some hatchbacks to spare I would definetly be happy to bring it to Holland protecting it from those evil swedes.
