AE86 with 4AGE doesn't start

Hello,

My AE86 with 4AGE Engine doesn't start anymore
The car has been standing for quite a while so I replaced the fuelpump because of rust in the tank.

The engine idles at 300-400RPM only (just not stalling) and only when using almost full throttle. If throttle is released Engine stalls immediatly.
At these RPM I'm not sure it runs on all cylinders but ignition seems OK.
Already I replaced the throttle body and ECU but no effect.

The most strange thing for me is that the Engine does not react to any throttle apply.
(except for stalling at release)
As a next step I plan to check the battery ground and water temperature signal.
Is this a good idea?
After these trials I'm lost....

Sounds like it is struggling to get fuel. Have you checked the fuel filter ?

Sorry, forgot to mention it: Fuelfilter was replaced also. It was an old one but looked fine.

I checked fuelsupply:
- Opening the cold start injector line --> Fuel is under pressure
- Removing return line after regulator --> When starting fuel comes out of regulator.

Do you know which fuel pressure I need and where i should/can meaure it?

It is possible that you have injectors that are gummed up. Several people
have found that when their car has sat for a long time, the injectors will
not squirt. If you can possibly borrow a set of injectors from a running
engine, it will allow you to test that possibility.

Hmm, already posted it in the dutch thread, but check your idle-up screw on the throttle body. Might be closed down too much, so the engine doesn't idle or very roughly when applying full throttle.

Symptoms sound like I had on the engine. Start, no idle, apply throttle it turns, release throttle it dies. (your mileage may vary).

It runs again !!!

Injectors were blocked.
Cleaned them and gave some 12V pulses on them.
Now it runs perfect
