Adventures of Subaru and SR86 on Grobnik aka Snow-Drift day

So I prepared for a track day...trailer loaded, everything ready. Great


Woke up in the morning...found 5 cm of snow. Nothing big I say


Weather forecast was good, no more snow, sunny weather so I decided to go. Full tank please


Snow was melting on the road as you can see..


After 3 hours of towing on the snow and ice...


...we arrived at the track, to found out that there is so much snow. Guy with snow plow truck could not locate the road to the track.


What the hell, disconnected the trailer.
Start the Google maps and just like in video game drive the car on the map



Should be somewhere here


Here....here....left.....right....good.

Behind the hill snow was high around 50cm, so I had to take 5 runs to reach the top. Noice the heat around TMIC


Finally at the track entrance...soon all the others 4x4 followed, Swift, Impreza, Evo...


Obviously, there was just too much snow on the track for my SR86 Corolla, so what else to do then track the Forester!

Other 4x4 also had great time




Some had problems reaching the pits

After 4 hours of fun on snow it was time to go home.

Those Torsens work great on snow
