technical asking about TVIS
Hello,
As I'm fixing a standalone ECU system (E-Race) I need some informations about TVIS .
Is it fully open at +/- 4000 rpm or higher (4500 rpm)

What's voltage is applied to the blue part on T-Vis ( I think it's named VSV Vacuum Switching Valve)
Is it 12v or 5v ?
Thanks for helping

technical asking about TVIS
Hi Filh,

It's 12V, and I very much doubt it does anything as subtle as opening partially. Switching point should be somewhere round 4100-4300, but this is based on the original engine characteristic. If you really need to keep TVIS, I'd try to figure out at what point the restriction from closing TVIS starts to hurt power.

Yvan , you're right , it's on /off position , fully open , or close .
To get the best TVIS openning revs , we'll see that on Dyno bench .
My asking was more about voltage , and I got the response very quickly
( was sure , you and Jondee were around)
Respect! Respect!

Regards
Phil
