Lajoosh is the professional in this topic, but I think the metal works will be fabricated to fit the fiberglass stuff perfectly. Its not a riveted JDM stlye over-fender panel AE86 GT - SR20DET BlackTop //// Trackday beater Citroen C4 Coupe VTR - 1.6HDi //// Streetcar |

another update
after finishing the rear suspension, it was time to recondition and modify the front too. all is disassembled, sandblasted, regreased, galvanized and powdercoated. modified the lca: cut off the end of the lca very close to the bushing house and made a mount for the rosejoint, drilled a new hole for the anti roll bar closer to the chassis end and widened the front hole of the tc rod to allow trackwidth setting. finished with boxing up the underside. as result i made a 2,5cm longer rca that can be extended more by 3cm, the base size already eliminates the owners need for his NCRCA subframe re-welding and strenghtening in progress. steering rack, disassembled, cleaned, regreased, painted and galvanized, looks new! this is how we rebuild the rusted chassis, repairing the damaged, thinned metal with new, handcrafted replacements, from panel to panel, folds to folds, everything is healing back to its factory designed shape. taking off the chassis rails, sandblasting the inside and repair where thinned or cracked or rusted out. also started to make the famous tsuchya style reinforcements. |

question> why do you add one alu plate on the 4 link mount? I mean in-between the new mount and the poly bush. Philip |
