Yeah , I just want to see how far the lever of the 6 speed compared to the t50, did you have to cut a new hole?

Oh yeah, there has to be cut a new hole!
But I haven't done it yet because I'm trail fitting the engine combo in my old car, and I'm not going to cut that chassis.

Soon as I have it installed in the new chassis I will post up pics here.

Ok, had lots of work to do so not to much time for the toyo.

But i managed to finish the front subframe and do some work on the gearbox frame.

Need your advise here, thanks in advance.

Finally, I have to remove the intake manifold to let it sit in this position.

So, what I want to ask now:
- Do I really need that 5mm spacer in the subframe, I think the position now is okay.
- I want to shave the end bit on the intake manifold to allow some more space, any concern on this one

Do I need that 5mm spacer on the subframe, same as you do? I think the engine is now sitting quite --- Okay, I will remove the Beams Cover for closing the bonnet.

Hi Yung,

It looks okay from here.
I have lhd car so I don't have a problem with the brake booster so I can't help you there.
I kept between 5 and 10mm space everywhere, I think that should be enough clearing.

On the subframe, I did need the 5mm lowering at least.
But I wanted to keep the cam covers so you need more space then.

Thanks for the reply.

For the brake booster, I will shave some of the intake mani off to create some space, let see how it turn out.

Also manage to locate the shift lever, that's in the front location now.

Will try to fabricate the Geear Box support bracket and finish the engine mount welding, hopefully this weel.

I am a bit of one-man team, so slow slow progress. Can only work on the car after work..... d
