Hmm, that's a long time.
If I am not mistaking, in Holland you can import half cars as scrap metal.
Maybe something is possible over there?

Tried that, problem is a half car will cost me more than a running one, once you incl. shipping. That's also the reason why I wanted the swap from UK in the first place as I would have been able to ship it for free from Switzerland to here.
Anyway will redo my plans for the 4A-GE (building a mild version instead of full-out awesome build) to keep cost down and will see further once I leave. Just need to get rid of my full-out built smallport head without too much of loss.

You make up your mind on the exhaust choice yet?
I still struggling on this matter.
Not sure what is the best for a cheap and efficient setup.

Any idea.

If you can weld or have a mate who can - I'd make something myself. That would have been my plan. i.e. keeping the original header and then go from there keeping the lengths of the pipes same as OEM and diameter at 60mm all the way to the back and include as many silencers/resonator/CAT as you need. This should be rather easy as the header itself is the most difficult thing to make and the OEM one only needs a bit of adjusting at the two port end or you might even keep it as is and do all the modifications necessary on the downpipe (which will need to be custom anyway even if you get and aftermarket CAT-back made for the AE86)
