20v Kp Irish spec
Few pics of my kp.... full restoration from scratch.. painted inside outside and underneath in 8a9. Every thing else powdercoated in gloss black. 1.5 litace on cbr 600 bike carbs, kent cam, lightened flywheel, head ported and polished etc. trd 5.6 lsd, coilovers up front and billies all round..



when fitting bike carbs engine bay all repainted, washer bottles removed as well as overflow, battery in boot, new blue hoses, manifold for carbs finished,wire tuck done, alloy rad and stainless overflow fitted, stut brace shortened and fitted,new t6aillights, allunderneath repained and sealed again, few pics,

had to buy another brand new alloy rad as first didnt fit..!!

Well i had the car completely finished and ready for the summer and the day before i insured her i noticed the tempeture hand rising. got her home and checked her and she was mixing the oil and water, Head off, pressure tested and skimmed, new HG, all back on and took her for a good run, everything seemed fine. next day took her for another drive but noticed when i started her there was alot of white smoke which was depressing to see! out the road 4 miles car started to dye, pressure began to build and tempetture hand started to go through the roof.! got home drained the oil - looked like milk - ENOUGH WAS ENOUGH!

Onto donedeal, spotted a cheap 20v engine in dublin, rand ur buck (gypo id say) informed me engine was perfect everything included bar ecu. he said he heard it running last week. in that i bought it and got a friend to collect it.! got it home , sump off, fillings galore! bootom end KOed! Dropped her off to Cathal Browne then for a full rebuild. back today waiting for the t50 to be converted.

While the engine was being built i contacted Billy in the USA about the OMX manifolds that he had purchased and he got one for me and is sending it to me. Gentleman!

Car will be running on an omex 600 management system, omx 4-2-1 stainless manifold,t3 trumpets, lightened flywheel, exzeedy organic clutch, t50 converted to cable, t3 quickshift.

Hopefully it will make a proper car of her.!

Cleaned up my engine as the red was going to look like nothing in my bay against the bue, got a set of 70mm trumpets and my manifold should be arriving this week.

spent an age cleaning the T/Bs, alloy wheel cleaner made a brillian job of them in the end out, i then lacqured them and replaced all the old bolts with new alan key ones. Freshened them up alot!

Block done over in 8A9 and painted my rocker covers graphit,
Will be getting the centre rockercover and the timing belt covers done in carbon fibre when i gather a few euro!

Awesome!!

Why not use silvertop rockercovers, they look prettier to me. Smile

Engine block was pourous! sold the rest of the parts off it.!
