also more easy for the non vvti engines just use fcr carbs and the electromotive .

so you are losing power by going carbs and getting rid of the best part of this motor ,the vvti
you wont make more power with carbies thats just bullshit .thats why we have efi ,delivers the right amount of fuel at the right time and also when the cam adavances or retards
oh well you can go back to the stone age
there are 4 ecus that can do vvti link ecu from new zealand
adaptronic from aussie motec from aussie autronic and theres probaly more new 1 coming out all the time
im using cams with 14.65mm of lift and still using vvti plus i have 2stage injection
these cams are full on race versions that i use .power on this motor is from 2000 to 9400 rpm about 340 hp and a flat torque curve from 3500 and starts to drop off after 8500 rpm i dont get ,but good luck with you project

hi dear friend .
first this carbs are not from stone age .
check all drag motorcycles they are usin these carbs also the top fuel bikes .
also the m1 yamaha was racing with carbs and was makin more power than the ecu after just the fuel consumption was to hi .
with good carbs and good ajusment you make same power or even more .
motorcycle technology is far more advanced than the cars .
did you ever try fcr carbs to fit in the 1,6 engines .
take a look at the japanese almost all of them use fcr carbs they are 41mm
and they open them at 43mm. drive first a car with proper carbs and after tell me about it .
a friend of mine put the lectron carbs in a honda civic bore to 1900cc and produce 338bhp .
with stone age carbs????

once again nice build - pitty about ditching the vvti though (could have modified a regular 3sge) and I agree with Celica RA45.
your example are good and true if you neglect the fact of the vvti which non of your examples do but the Beams does.

Anyway keep up the else very nice build.

just in a race car you dont need vvti cose with close ratio gearbox you work you gear changes so close that you dont drop under the 6000rpm .
also i am goin to save a lot of weight .
for now i will run with the sxe10 6 speed gearbox after i am goin for quaife 6 speed sequantial .
