Built like an A-10 (Thunderbolt II aka Warthog)

One step forward, one step back.

Last month I took the car out for a test drift and damaged the front bumper, since the car is a hair lower with the weight of the new motor and my tires caught the front bumper mid dori and popped it loose. It flipped off the front face down and got dragged for a fair bit. Ripped it off for some repair work. Currently sitting waiting for the resin to cure.




Had these for about a year, while waiting for the second layer of resin/fiber to cure polished them up and tossed them on.




Spent almost 2 days wetsanding the hood to try and remove all the faded gel/clear coat. I also did the nrg hood lock plates which had no gel coat left on them. Dropped it off with a friend who clear coated it for me. Came out sweet.






Found my new 'sealed' battery leaking out of the negative post, sent it in for a warranty replacement. Hopefully the new one has no problems... whenever it actually arrives. The same thing happened to my friend with the same battery, so if your thinking about one of these (Shuriken BT20) you might want to look into a different one.




And lastly tore apart a spare cluster to figure out how to roll my ODO back to keep track of what kind of use I put on the new motor.
