This looks like surface rust and being so equable is an indication there was water actualy touching the surface, probably in the form of moisture.

Airfilter installed,not plug and play..
had to move the radiator pipe bit and shorten the rubber

4.77 arrived,wil be installed next week

Bought in the netherlands a w58 for later

Also the intercom is installed,all brake lines are replaced(and it was needed,close to leaking) all the fuel lines.
2 switches and main component for gauges,....

And a lcd display from zadach with oil temp/water temp/wideband/...
Instead of alot of gauges i decided to buy this and put it in the console with a cover.
