The mirrors were painted also, but the inside wasn't doing very well, so something had to be done:

Fixed the rear wing, it had a few mounting points broken off, but it is as good as new now:




Put some extra heat protection under the exhaust:




Some dead smurfs for the front bumper:

Than the airbox, it grew some honeycomb:




This is to get rid of turbulence for the MAF sensor.


Reduced the loom to a flat cable:




And now the top half is secured to the bottom, always handy. :-)





Then I needed a bung to attach the cpv hose to the inlet hose.

Back to the Lathe:








And in it's final position:

And finaly it began to look like a car!

















And then today I got it back on the road!!
A milestone, very very happy indeed.

It is not finished yet, it has no interior, and the side skirts are not fitted yet, but the bulk is done, a weight is of my shoulders.....

Did you just get it APK'd ? I'd suggest registering the uprated engine officially while you're at it (if you haven't done so already).
