What clutch (212mm) to get?
Well before I started taking the engine apart, quite spirited...
6-7k rpm on most B roads in 2nd and 3rd A couple of standing starts but didn't want to destroy my flywheel and clutch so early into it's life... I won't be changing the clutch when it all goes back together however but it'd be putting out between 150-160 hp hopefully and then it'd be taken on track days and drag races at Santa Pod so am quite confident it'll withstand abuse. The T Sport Corolla is a quickish car anyhow and its designed for that car. It's also the same clutch in the 190 hp Celica |

What clutch (212mm) to get?
Hmm, I'm sure it's good for regular trackdays, not so sure how many clutch kicks it's going to survive though.
I'll await some more feedback - I know the TRD setup will take the abuse just wondering if there are alternatives. AE86 ex-daily |

What clutch (212mm) to get?
When I was looking for a new clutch to go with the Fidanza originally I could not find an Exedy stage 1 clutch for the 212mm flywheel. It was readily available for the 200 flywheel, but I had already paid for the Fidanza by then.
Might want to check availability on it first. |

What clutch (212mm) to get?
I can get all the mentioned kit + TRD in a reasonable time frame. As I'll only need it by March, any kind of delay isn't really an issue.
BTW does illegal garage still exist? as the homepage doesn't. I'm currently torn between Centerforce, TRD and Exedy for various reasons but as said input so far is very little so I'll wait and hope for more. AE86 ex-daily |
