Is it still t-50 ?
Hi Guys
I need help with gearbox identification. The gear set looks like this: 1) 26/16 x 26/18 [2.347:1] 2) 24/20 x 26/18 [1.733:1] 3) 21/22 x 26/18 [1.379:1] 4) 19/24 x 26/18 [1.144:1] 5) 18/26 x 26/18 [1.000:1] R) 17/14 x 33/17 x 26/18 [3.405:1] My question, is it still t-50 or maybe some other high-performance model ? My investigation shows that this is just addon set to t-50 from British manufacturer Quaife - Could You please confirm ? |

Is it still t-50 ?
Thanks for the quick response, but I need to ask for more precise answer.
In other words is this "dog box for rally/race car"still t-50 ? Or is this variant signed in quite different way ? |

Ok thanks.
I have two more requests: 1) Could You please give me math formula to convert hk to nm 2) Where do You get this information ? Maybe You have some sort of service manual ? Because my is very poor when it comes to such data. |

Is it still t-50 ?
Rene are U still with us ?
I read TRD SE Bible and Toyotas SM, I found very, very little there on this topic. That's why I'm asking if there are any other items ? Heading back to the hk unit, I found several different mathematical formulas: - hk=(nm*rpm*Pi)/30000*1.36 - hk=(nm*rpm)/5252 - hk=kw*1.36 It looks quite inconsistent for me, probably I dont know something about it. All websides were in foreign languages to me. I suspect that maybe "hk" is referred to the power unit - Is that correct ? Swedish maybe ? |

If it was in Swedish then yes HK (Hästkrafter) is HP (Horsepower).
