So the question remains is this 10k RPM measured as the engine speed ?
Because I have to converted this power to torque.

the amount of torque a gearbox can withstand is a product of 2 variables.

1) the peak torque load of the engine

2) the mass of the car.

T50 is only a moderate gearbox, Quaife, or similar performance gear will improve it some, but the box itself is not strong.

There are some other gearbox options available *IF* the T50 becomes a problem

Yes U are right mate, earlier I was dealing with ZF boxes in BMW, and ZF specifications provide 3 parameters:
1) peak engine torque at (2) max rpm, and (3) max weight on driving axle.
Unfortunately, I still dont know when T50 becomes a problem - this is what I'd like to establish here.

there are 3 factors the tell how much Nm or KG a gearbox can hande

1 distance between axels the gear runs on
2 wide off toots
3 number off toots on the tootswheel is in action, normal on a strait cut gearbox only 1 tooth are carnying the load on each wheel

Rene maybe we shouldn't go this way. Because then we have to know a lot more parameters, such as composition and homogeneity of the material, exact shape of the teeth to determine what amount of material is in constant contact etc...
I'd rather leave it to specialized TRD engineers...
...I think more about the results of their work which in the case of ZF are available in the user manual, and sometimes outright on the box.
I had hopes that TRD or Toyota also provide such data.

Are 10k rpm that You have entered an engine speed ?
And from where do You get this data, from your own experiences or maybe from some book ?
Im asking not to undermine them, Im just looking for sources with whom I could get familiar too.

10k = 10.000 RPM engine speed

TRD do not supply any off this data, I got some info from Quaife that makes the gearkit

rest is from reading articles and tech stuff on gearboxes, talking with people the make gearboxes, just picking up information

also internet but be careful lot is copy off copy and so correct
