That's the key for a long drifts.

Btw i was driving / drifting this baby.

this e30 m3 has e36 m3 3.0 286 powerplant. On the touch suspension felt stiff, but it was very hard for drift, so i told the owner something is very wrong with rearend of that car. I suspected on weak LSD, since the lsd left the locking in the half of the drift. Huh
When he did get home he found out that the rear sway bar was broken. Too bad, but i like the big potetnial of that car.

Mobikrog 10.04.2005 56k take a break (+ VIDEO!)
I managed to break my car on mobikrog drift day.
I was using throttle a lot, and one moment my gas pedal went down and didn't come back keeping the rpm needle on 8k rpm! Huh
I thought, dang, there goes my throtle cable. I shut down ignition on the hot car Sad, lifted the hood and the throtle cable was still functional.
I somehow managed to break the shaft that goes through the throtle body!!!!
Here's an old pic of the shaft.

It broke in 2 parts near the one of the bolts.

So all i had was idle rpm in a midlle of a wet driftday.

So i needed to stick my throtlle linkage to the thortlle body, so i used elastic rope. Smile

My TPS is messed, so is idle, but who cares. I managed to drift the rest of the day with that "setup".
In fact i'm still driving today with this, just too lazy to fix it. Smile

I have an hour and half of mobikrog footage on my onboard cam. Will put that online too.
